The Wolves of Blood and Bone are a recently-founded Successor Chapter of the Space Wolves that was created during the recent Ultima Founding during the 42^nd Millennium and is comprised entirely of Primaris Space Marines. Styled after the old Space Wolves Legion that existed during the Great Crusade and the Horus Heresy, the Wolves of Blood and Bone, as they have been known as, have also inherited the old tenets of Russ during their creation. Due to this, they have basically disregarded the Codex Astartes.

Hailing from the snowy death world of Vargarnas on the other edge of the Fenris sytem from Fenris. They still use their hostile planet for their recruitment process.

Chapter Recruitment

Any Aspirant most complete a total of 5 Trials who's high gothic names have been lost except the 5th The trials are as follows

Each trial is completed in succession. The first one involves heading into the wilderness to tame one of the wolves that inhabit Vargarnas. Once an Aspirant finds one of these wolves they must successfully tame this wolf the will then have to survive and hunt in the wilderness for 3 weeks. During this time

The Wolves of Blood and Bone are one of the few Successor Chapters of the Sapce Wolves. Forged as they were alongside other Primaris Space Marines during the Ultima Founding, the warriors of the Wolves of Blood and Bone still proudly bear the genetic code of the Wolf King, Leman Russ and, as such, have much in common with both their gene-sire and their progenitors.

Like their illustrious forebears, the Wolves of Blood and Bone flout the tenets of the Codex Astartes, ignoring Codex-approved insignia in favour of their own tribal markings and heraldry. Many of these primitivistic markings feature stylised claw or fang markings, while others resemble the lupine skull. Squad numbers are similarly replaced with Vargarnasian runes.

The warriors of this Chapter predominatlye paint their powr armour in a bone white livery, while their shoulder pauldron trim and the top of their backpacks are painted blood red. An Imperialis or wolf-variant chest decoration affixed to their plastron (chest guard) is also blood red in colour.

The Chapter icon is proudly born on the left shoulder pauldron while the right bears a pack marking designating a battle-brother's assigned battlefield tactical role based upon their seniority within the Chapter hierarchy.

Chapter Badge

The Wolves of Blood and Bone is a large upside down blood-red coloured blood drop with a large black-coloured lupine skull centered within. This central symbol is centered upon a field of bone white.
