The Wolf Knights are a young chapter forged in the fires of the Ultima Founding, their gene-seed tracing back to the legendary Space Wolves. Yet already their name resounds through the stars, a battle-litany of victories and bloody exploits echoing across the Imperium.
These are scions of Fenris, born to war. Their armour is stained by the vital essences of a thousand vanquished foes, their flesh hardened by the perdition of countless war-zones. Each battle-brother's heart beats only for glory and the clarion call of open conflict. Raised in the most brutal traditions of their progenitors, they were created to reave a crimson path through the Emperor's foes, leaving the shattered wrecks of armies in their wake.
Yet for all their vaunted prowess, the Wolf Knights remain an ill-defined creature, a chapter seeking its own identity amidst the madness of the late 41st Millennium. They are a force still struggling to forge its own enduring legends and carve out a place of honour in the annals of the Adeptus Astartes. Only once they have answered the existential questions that gnaw at their cores - of lineage, purpose and destiny - will they truly become the Emperor's merciless executioners that their gene-forged spirits crave.
Until that day, they are nomads, wandering the night-shrouded realm of mankind like vengeful phantoms. They bring bloody salvation to the oppressed and a merciless reckoning to any xenos, heretic or traitor foolish enough to bar their path. Each new war zone becomes a charnel altar where the rituals of battle are enacted in a frenzy of butchery, as the foes of the Imperium are rendered as offal to slake the Wolf Knights' insatiable hunger for slaughter.
Chapter History[]
The Wolf Knights' genesis was a brutal affair, torn from the gene-seed of the Unnumbered Sons and reforged as a new, merciless tool of the Imperium's wrath. Their sole purpose: to scour the galaxy of the Emperor's foes, delivering a bloody reckoning upon the heretic, the alien, the traitor. For generations, they fulfilled this grim mandate without question, their bolters barking an endless litany of death across the stars.
Yet over time, a creeping dread took root within their transhuman ranks. They had become consummate killers, unmatched in the arts of war...but to what end? What meaning lay behind the endless cycle of battle, beyond simply existing to fight? They were not like the hated Traitor Legions, whose very existence was an affront to the Emperor's dream. The Wolf Knights sought a higher purpose, something to elevate their noble calling above mere butchery.
So they looked to their progenitors, the ancient Chapters whose legends had become inextricable from the very fabric of the Imperium. Within those hallowed ranks lay something the Wolf Knights and their brethren of the Ultima Founding lacked - unshakeable identity, rituals hardened by centuries of observance, a soul that transcended their role as the Emperor's martial instruments. Without such anchors, they feared losing themselves utterly to the eternal war, sacrificing their last shreds of humanity until they became little more than soulless automata in powered armour.
This grim possibility became their new obsession, driving them to forge their own unbreakable traditions from the fires of battle. Every campaign a new ritual genesis, every world liberated a defiant act of cultural reclamation. No matter how drenched in blood their path became, the Wolf Knights would cling forever to what made them more than just war machines given flesh. If it took an eternity of conflict to burn their identities into the chronicles of the Imperium, so be it. They would not be reduced to the mindless butchers they had once sworn to destroy.
The discovery of Trelleborg[]
As the Wolf Knights in the year 010.M42 catches a mysterious signal. Most of the signal had disintegrated during its journey through the Inmaterium. What little could be deciphered were coordinates, a few scraps of economic reports, and a mysterious passage claiming from the middle and end of the signal:
.... a group of 5...krsp...4.....krsp... and..... krsp.....krsp... in sector Alpha-Primus... correction...... in sector krsp... Trirum... unknown signatures in....number......... not indefective noise. Alam.....unidentifiable noise......several high-pitched screams.........beeping noise lasting 10 minutes. Several........glow red......krsrk......normalized......several shrill screams....drum.......echo -Charlie...... Fortress 2...... krsk....... several voices speak loudly but indistinctly in a jumble....... listen......aaahhh... .krsk...a voice speaks in an unidentifiable language for 15 minutes.....may......it.....unidentifiable sound.....see the sea glow .......[as signal breaks off suddenly]
As no one could make sense of it, the then-homeless Wolf Knights decided to follow the signal to their place of origin at the fortress world of Trelleborg. When they arrived at Trelleborg, they found the planet devoid of people. They found no sign of a battle. Everywhere only silence which was interrupted from time to time by the sound of an animal. The longer they search, the more puzzling the lack of people becomes. There was simply no sign of his captors the reason they left or who ordered it. But the longer they searched the planet, the more an ominous feeling grew. That only someone who comes home after a very long time knows. And when they found a mighty fortress in an almost impenetrable wall of fog. Searched those eager for information and for potential secrets. But what they found they didn't share with anyone. but what you always found might have contributed to your decision you choose Trelleborg as their new homeworld and take care of whatever they found.

Chapter Gene-Seed[]
Genetic Flaws[]
Chapter Culture[]
The Chapter Culture The Wolf Knights is a blend of that of their honorable ancestors the fierce Space Wolves and a thoughtful philosophical one. They don't put anyone on a strict agenda. Instead, each Wolf Knight spends the day as he pleases. Only two things are certain every Astartes trains and has deep thoughts. Highly philosophical talks at their daily feasts are also popular.
In the eyes of the Wolf Knights, there is foolishness, idiocy, stupidity, and dull life, and now and then commands and orders from some historyless commanders. This a clear sign that someone leads a pseudo-life that is basically not worth living and that death is basically salvation for that person.
in return, in her eyes, a free spirit, thoughtfulness, a philosophical streak, and intimacy are the four pillars that distinguish a true warrior from a mindless thug. In particular, if anyone tries to deny this, to them, this is simply exposed evidence that that person does not deserve their respect.
