The Thunderboot Grenadiers is a Loyalist Space Marine Chapter of the Adeptus Astartes descended from the stoic Imperial Fists. They were created during the ill-fated 21st Founding, the so-called "Cursed Founding", due to the high prevalance of spontaneous mutations and genetic idiosyncrasies amongst many of the Chapters created during this particular founding.

The Thunderboot Grenadiers primarily wear candy apple red colour power armour on the upper body with dark (slightly blue) legs and pelvis. The shoulder pauldron trim and belts are gold in colour. The Aquila or Imperialis affixed the plastron (chest guard) are also gold in colour.
