The Night Ghosts are a Loyalist Space Marine Chapter of the ill-fated 21st 'Cursed' Founding. They are one of the most feared chapters of the noble warriors of the Adeptus Astartes. But what most people do not know if they read the many reports of the satanic tortures of the Night Ghosts are that the Chapter follows the honourable regulations of the Cult Prometheus from the noble Salamanders with the same fanaticism. And even less know the second face of the Night Ghosts - a friendly albeit very reserved mind.
Whatever imperialorganizationss think about the Night Ghosts, one thing no one can deny - wherever the Night Ghosts fight in a war the losses to civilians number close to zero. If a tyrant enslaves innocents or criminals who rob the population, no wrong can survive against the Night Ghosts.
Chapter History
Most information is from the Inquisition censored or false. But to the few facts, they are a chapter of the ill-fortuned 21st Founding. Since their founding, the Night Ghosts have continued to spread fear and terror to the enemies of humanity. Their made fast a name as a reckless terror group and strengthened the image of madmen. Notable Campaigns
- The Purge of Katelim (832.M39): In the imperial world Katelim rise a Chaos cult and converted the inhabitants. The Claw Platoon Alpha, Beta, Ghost, Karstein, and Darkness were sent against the heretics. The Night Ghosts destroyed the 4 space stations and let them fall on the planet. In the next weeks after the war raid, the Night Ghosts the important facilities as places of worship and liberate the enslaved loyal citizen. At the final battle, not even 10% of the cult could muster up a spark of courage to fight against the Night Ghosts.
- The Night of the 1 Trillion Screams (983.M37): The Night of the 1 trillion Screams was a campaign from the Night Ghosts against an army of the marauding traitor guard on the planet Trautis IV. The 3rd company infiltrate the headquarter and poisoned the food of the traitors with hallucination canceling poisons. The 4th company installed ultrasound machines which caused fear. The 7th company used poison gas to kill the traitor. The 8th and 6th companies intercepted the fleeing traitors. And so becomes Trautis IV conquered in a night with over 1 trillion screams.
- The Blood Rain (236.M38): The Blood Rain was a campaign from the Night Ghosts on the planet Umirila. A coalition of several gangs and chaos cults had conquered the 55 flying cities. The Night Ghost infiltrate the flying cities and used hit-and-run tactics to wear down the opponents. The captured gang and chaos cult members become executed by being thrown into the rotor blades. Their blood drained over a week and dyed the many rivers and lakes blood red.
- Fight of the Ghosts and the Lords of the Night (099.M42-104.M42): The Fight of the Ghosts and the Lords of the Night was a campaign from the Night Ghosts on the planet KIatemis III. The Night Lords try to conqured KIatemis III. The war between both enemies was terrible. The support forces of both sides become hunted, tortured, and killed. The once overpopulated hives suffered a significant population decline. Many frightened reported brutal battles between Astartes and Heretic Astartes. After 5 terrible years of war die the last Night Lord. The Night Ghosts lose 562 battle-brothers from the former 1000 Astartes.

The Command Squad is organized outside of the normal structure. Cult Prometheus
In the extreme opposite to your reputation consider the Night Ghosts themselves as protectors of humanity and justice. Where most people of the Night Ghosts mistake them for monsters and fear them, the better observers recognize many similarities white the noble Cult Prometheus from the Salamanders. A battle brother of the Night Ghost would never torture an innocent. The only humans who have to fear Night Ghosts are criminals, heretics, and everybody which innocent servants and other misdeeds commit against them.

Panic, fear, pain, madness, and confusion are the mark of the warfare of The Night Ghost. Fast attacks take turns with bolter volleys from the shadows. The enemies have no chance to fight back. The Night Ghosts has no homeworld as the main recruitment place. Instead of this recruit the Night Ghosts from many several planets. In the eyes of the Night Ghosts are repentant criminals. members of vigilantes and other people which fight against injustices are the best recruits for their chapter.
