The Iron Flashes are a loyal Sucessor Chapter of the wild and brave White Scars. Where the White Scars are famous for their lightning assaults and rapid deployment of bikes and land speeders, the Iron Flashes are famous for their deployment of heavy armours. They have perfected the use of armoured assaults much like their predecessors have with their deployment of bikes. Many enemies of humanity have learned to fear the armoured attacks of the Iron Flashes. Only a few half-dead enemies have survived and lived to tell of this destructive storm of iron and steel.

Chapter History

The exact date of the founding of the Iron Flashes is unknown. However, incomplete Imperial records show that the first mention of this noble chapter was in late M34. The first reports indicated an unknown Chapter smashing Ork WAAAGHs! under the treads of their Land Raiders as well as crushing multiple Aelderi attacks which had become outmanoeuvred and outright destroyed. In the next 5000 years fight they against many different minor xenos races.

The Iron Meets the Iron

In the year 001.M39 meets the Iron Warriors in the battle of Ganetils. Where the dark sons of Perturabo try the citizen to enslave. Under the brave fire of their armours could the Iron Flashes be forced to withdraw. The Warsmith swor terrible revenge. In the next 3000 years fight both sides in dozen of battbattle. At the planet, Otrilus dismember the back then Armoured Commander of the Iron Flashes a famous Chaos Dreadnought the weapon arms of. At the defence of Habitat 6-A-Beta was the back the back-then our Master. But before he die killed he had 10 Chaos Terminators and 2 Chaos Champions. This time call the Iron Flashes as the Iron meets the Iron.

Notable Campaigns

  • Battle of Teom (345.M35): The battle of Teom was an Ork attack on the Agri world Teom. The PDF couldn't Teom alone defence. The Iron Flashes must the helpless citizen save from the bloody Xenos. As the Orks, the fields looted and the foot supplies ate. Crushed their Land Raider the Orks under their chains and the battle brothers killed the surprised xenoss.
  • Raid at the Hetrach Field (298.M28): As 594.M40 a chaos cult at the planet Itil against the planetary government revolt. Send the Iron Flashes their 7th Company against the shameful heretics. As the main forces of the chaos cult, the inhabits of the Hetrach Fields were sacrificed. Exploded 200 grenades from the Predators in the rows of the cult.   • The Iron meets the Iron (001.M39-001.M42): The iron meets the iron is the name of a period from 001.M39-001.M42. In this time fight Iron Flashes and Iron Warriors several dozen times in many different battles. This was the time for great heroic deeds. Many of the greatest heroes of the Iron Flashes fight and die in this time. The iron meets the iron was the biggest endurance test for the Iron Brothers, their tactics and armours. But after 300 years of battle, fight they getting rare against the Iron Warriors.

Chapter Homeworld

Mark IV is a world of endless meadows and importance on armour specialized industry. The 30 billion inhabitants of Mark I live in 30 strongly fastened hives, they have several thousands of guns for the defence. In the hives becomes daily thousands of armours produced. Mark, I had no mountains or great forests. The 5 oceans are flat and small. Between the fives exist several trade routes. Where many great armoured transporters drive. Mark IV had a history full of tank battles. In the endless expanse of Mark IV are million of tank wrecks.

Fortress-Monastery

The Armour is a great armoured vehicle in the form of a Baneblade. The Armour is 10km long, up to 3km high and 3km wide. The main weapons are the greater equivalent of the weapons from a normal Baneblade. Next to the main weapons had the Armour 20 anti-air guns, 40 artillery guns and 4 anti-ship guns. The Armour had a crew of 20.000 crewman's. The command centre is in the armour tower behind 10m thick stall gates. The forge is in the vicinity of the motor. The Apothecarion is in the rear part of the armour tower and is protected from a 40m thick stall and 40 automatic guns. The Librarius is in the front part of the Armour. The Reclusiam is in the front part of the armour tower over the main gun.

Chapter Culture

The Iron Flashes hold their armours in honour. Every Astartes of the Chapter is proficient in the use of every type of armour their Chapter possesses within their armoury. Every squad within a company has access to at least one type of armoured vehicle, be it an armoured personnel carrier or a heavier tank. The Techmarines take careful care of their Chapter's armoured vehicles. Every battle brother can all vehicle driving. Every squad had their transport armour, which from the members of the squad with devotion cultivated. The battle tanks and other armoured vehicles become with the same devotion cultivated. Many of the armours had the names of deceased battle brothers. Where their progenitor chapter the wild and proud White Scars are happy first feel the wind in their faces. If their ride their bikes. Chapter Beliefs

The Iron Flashes beliefs are that the Emporer is not a god but a great warrior. They interpret their favoured kind of warfare. Gene-Seed

The gene-seed of the Iron Flashes is in a few details free from gene-seed flaws. The Astartes of the Iron Flashes is more resilient against melee attacks than the other White Scars successors. Their temperament is not so wild how this from the White Scars, but in exchange is their wildness more disciplined. Combat Doctrine

The Iron Flashes prefer to make use of heavier armoured tanks and armoured personnel carriers in every battle. The armours are carefully utilised for maximum efficiency and destruction caused to an enemy. The Iron Flashes had 4 kinds of companies Veteran, Attack, Fire Support, and Mobile companies.

Veteran Company

The Veteran company is the elite company of the chapter. Their members are veterans of thousands of battles. They are masters of the range and close combat. The armours are overhangs with relics. Every member is very viewed at his battle brother.

Attack Companies

The Attack companies are offensively operated companies. They are specialised in attacks, storm attacks and line breaker missions. They are famous for their angry attacks. The power armours are marked from hundred of smaller or greater dents.

Fire Support Companies

The Fire Support companies are defensive operated companies. They are specialised in defence, tactical retreats, fire support and siege warfare. They are respected for their stoic kind of warfare. Most enemies could not their in a closed combat fight.

Mobile Companies

The Mobile companies are mobile operating companies. They are specialised in infiltration, mobile warfare, reconnaissance and assassination of enemy leaders or important units. They are estimated for their unconventional kind of warfare. They train the scouts.

Chapter Recruitment

The Iron Flashes recruit their new aspirants from the battlefields. At every tank battle look after potential new aspirants. If the chosen potential new aspirants the battle and his wound survive. Bring the Iron Chaplains the new aspirants to a remote area and let their the many aspirants in battles against each other fight. After this training battle must a Machine Spirit tame. If the aspirant the test fails but survived the wrath of the Machine Spirit become he executed.

Notable Members

  • Ernst Svinton: He is actually Armoured Commander. He was born 843.M41 as a son of a legendary general of the capital Hive. With 10 years must he and his brothers as auxiliary staff for the armies of his father working. As one day the army of his father an important battle lost. Must he be armed with a laser pistol against 400 enemies figthing. After 4 hours and 234 killed enemies was he nearly died, as an Iron Chaplain him saved. Later as he was an Armoured Sergeant has destroyed he the 4 enemy Knights at the battle of Zirtil IX. As Armoured Captain killed he with his Predator 44 enemy heavy armours at the battle of the Fist Hive. he is since the year 999.M41 the new Armoured Commander of the Iron Flashes.

  • Itrelus Wrath: A 6,565 years old Predator. This is the oldest vehicle of the Iron Flashes. Its armour testifies to many battles and many victories. Among other things, there are 3 large dents in the rear part of the tower. They are of an unknown Xeno species that was defeated on the Imperial planet of Turscon VIII.
