The Hawks of Guilliman are a Loyalist Space Marine Chapter of the Ultima Founding. They are incredibly adherent to the Codex Astartes, violently so, choosing their foes from amongst the ranks of the renegade and the heretic alike. Any who stand against the living primarch, regent of the imperium shall be struck down.
Despite their lineage as White Scars the Astartes who would eventually be formed into the Hawks of Guilliman gained respect for the returned primarch, seeing him as the greatest warrior of the modern galaxy and the only one fit to lead the imperium to a new age. following this logic, if Guilliman was the greatest warrior, then his Codex Astartes filled with his teachings must be the greatest way to wage war. this is the source of their devotion to the Codex.

Invasion of Norvos (004.M42) - After the opening of the Great Rift the Hawks of Guilliman were formed into a task force to put down an and destroy the webway portal of an invasion of Druhkari raiders taking advantage of the chaos in the wake of the 13th Black Crusade to prey on the world of Norvos as they pleased, entering into the underhive via a webway portal, the Hawks fought valiantly and pushed the foul xenos back into the web way from whence they came. the chapters librarians were dedicated to destroying the gate after to prevent another such incursion on the world.
Siege of Praxmodar Alpha (012.42) - the Hawks of Guilliman are currently involved with the defense of the forgeworld Praxmodar Alpha as it has come under attack by chaos forces in the form of the Liberation Front traitor guardsmen, the forces of the Malevolent Sons heretic astartes and most recently the Sanguis Exspiravit, a peculiar khornate warband which behave more like ghosts than any physical astartes, the Hawks have devoted their full chapter and fleet to the defense of this world and its valuble titans.
the Hawks of Guilliman were called in as a precautionary measure by Praxmodar Alpha. it was a wise decision of the fabricator general given the fact that the intial preliminary reports of the hostile forces were greatly underestimating the force of the heretics. the Malevolent Sons and the Liberation Front had concealed the majority of their force behind and within XAM-1, the ork attack moon left in orbit of the world after the war of the beast. In addition from the physical hiding they also foiled scouts using the Liberation Front's "psycorp" and the sorcerers of the Malveloent Sons.
this meant that at the time the Hawks of Guilliman had only sent the 5th company to assist in the defense of the forge world. the defenders were immediatly caught off guard by the underestimated force of heretics. the 5th company held out, fighting with tooth and nail to defend the astropathic relay long enough to send a cry for help to the rest of their chapter who arrived in force. with the arrival of the rest of the chapter the Hawks of Guilliman stood strong together as a fully united chapter to defend the titans from falling into the hands of the enemy
all the blood shed had caught the eye of khorne, or at least a group of his servents. sightings of black and red armored marines spread amongst the soldiers fighting on Praxmodar Alpha until the sighting of the Sanguis Exspiravit, or blood ghosts, was confirmed as they attacked en masse. killing fellow heretic and imperial warrior alike. these new comers have slowed the war down, preventing any one side from winning.

Given the chapter's fleet based life their main battle barge also serves as their fortress monastery, that being the ship Stella Consilium which is surrounded by a multitude of other ships all there to support the chapter as it cuts through the stars to defend the imperium.

- Nova Mors- The first blade to kill an enemy by the chapter, this chainsword was originally wielded by Festin Yin of the 2nd Company and it was used to kill a Druhkari raider, though Festin fell in battle he was honored by his blade being named as a relic, it is now wielded by Chapter Master Van Zan Clericus in battle
- Scroll Vetus - The personal Codex of the High Chaplain Tonitrus Lenti, while not old and venerable his has been deemed a relic by the young chapter.
Chapter Appearance
Chapter Colours
The Hawks of Guilliman primarily wear dark blue power armour with red eye lenses. The Aquila or Imperialis affixed to their plastron (chest guard) is also red in colour. Despite their lineage as Sons of the Khagan, the Chapter bears standard Codex markings, with the pauldron trim being used to represent company designation and the knee pad bearing heraldry of said company.
Chapter Badge
The Hawks of Guilliman's chapter badge takes the form of the Ultramarines' 'Ultima' glyph upon their shoulder colored in white, similar to the Scions of Guilliman, though with a red-coloured hawk's head centered upon it.
