- — Docanus Metys after the defense of then fortress Malbork
Guilliman's Hussars are a semi-Codex-compliant Successor Chapter created from the lineage of the heroic Ultramarines during the recent Ultima Founding. At the dawn of the 42nd Millennium, the Imperium was bleeding from a thousand wounds, as the Guilliman's Hussars were raised - carved from the same adamant stock as their gene-sire, yet driven toward a purpose that's not Ultramar by nature. Swift war is their creed: the rapid strike, the sudden descent, the hammer-blow delivered at the moment of despair. They are hunters on the edge of annihilation, mounted in steel and fire, their bodies reshaped for speed and endurance, their power armour stripped lean for swiftness. They are not built to hold, but for speed, and to run faster than death itself.
Garnering a reputation for lightning attacks and swift assaults, besieged Imperial worlds that have heard engines in the sky received salvation from these Sons of Guilliman, they whisper that the Hussars came and went like storms: sudden, furious, and unrelenting, leaving silence in their wake.
Chapter History
With the onslaught of WAAAGH!!! Skullrack and the Tau Third Expansion sphere, the Ultramarines needed a new force to help combat them. Descended from the gene-stock of the Ultramarines during the recent Ultima Founding, this chapter focuses on lightning fast attacks to save as many people as possible they are mounted on bikes and armed with bolt pistols. There armor is reduced around the waist to allow swift dismounted attacks and faster charges. This chapter never forsakes their armor by changing its colors as it is considered a disgrace to the chapter for one to do so. As of right now they are deployed on Bast's world and Prassium cleaning up orc enclaves.
Notable Campaigns
- The Defense of Bast's World (863.m41 - 863.m41) - with them onslaught of Waaagh!! Skullrack, they started To turn to Bast’s World and the ultramarine 2nd company was tasked with defending it. When everything seemed bleak, a squad of outriders led by Ghyso charged the orks and broke the siege of fortress malbork losing his legs in the process. Being interred in a Dreadnaught and gifted to Guilliman’s Hussars when it was founded
- Damocles Gulf Crusade (742.m41 - 745.m41) - The founding members of this chapter (Docanus Metys, Ghyso, Abdaziel) participated in the Damocles Crusade and thus know the area well.
- The second Delirium war
Chapter Homeworld
Bast's world is a plains world with many towns and cities built up. With scattered mountains this means it was less efficient to travel by air to places and more efficient to travel by motor, this is how the chapter got its signature combat doctrine. This also meant that Bast's world needed to have significant infrastructure and resources to support further operations. And so Head librarian Abdaziel instructed the astra militarum to begin mining and building factories. This also increased the trade footprint of the world. And so Bast's World became a bustling trade world with many orbital trade stations surrounding it.
Fortress-Monastery
fortress monastery Malbork is a 2 stage monastery built in a two mountains with a bridge connecting them. This allows for the outnumbered defenders of the fortress to defend it easier with a landing zone and the local astra Militarum headquarters nearby this means that all resources can be devoted here so that many nearby systems will not fall as well. There is one lone brother Dreadnaught sentinel called Ghyso that stands as a symbol of hope for as long as he is not awakened the planet is safe. The fortress monastery has 1 volcano cannon, 4 orbital guns, dozens of anti-fighter guns and dozens of heavy bolter emplacements guarding the passageways .

They receive extra training and are taught the Wide-Assault Spearhead. They are also taken to make more oaths as a vanguard charger is a honored position and each member is around Towarzysz level. Despite their helmets not showing it they are actually higher rank than a Towarzysz.
- Towarzysz (Sergeant) - The typical sergeant leads a Kopias of Hajduk's. They are well trained and can handle many scenarios that the typical battle-brother cannot. They are also given training on the Hussar-class reconnaissance bike, so that if they become vanguard chargers they can be inducted directly into the second company.

They also get dropped off on bast's world with a beacon and their clothes and must find a way to survive. This means that every cycle of aspirants only 10-15 of them survive.
Specialist Units & Formations
The Wide-Assault Spearhead - A formation in which it takes 5 kopias of vanguard chargers and deploys them in a wedge shaped formation across 3 miles. In between each vanguard charger kopias is a slower push mopping up enemies. This assault aims to overwhelm enemy command with 5 breakthroughs that they have to respond to otherwise each vanguard charger kopias is going to wreak havoc in enemy back lines aiming mainly for the artillery lines to kill the main threat to this strategy. Once the strategy is completed ThunderHawk gunships retrieve the vanguard charger kopias' in the backlines. If successful this strategy will turn the tides of a planetary battle.
Terminator mounted assault - Terminators of the 1st company will ride bikes equipped with lascannons against heavily armored enemies, the terminators themselves carry wrist mounted storm bolters, a force shield and a thunder hammer attached to their bike.

Chapter Recruitment
This Chapter recruits by taking infants from their mothers at a young age to go through the harsh induction, training rites and eventual genetic augmentation processes. Recruits are usually taken by a Chaplain or Librarian. The augmentation process is completed by the Apothecaries under the Chapter Master's watchful eye. When they are first taken the aspirants are given an augmentation that allows their muscle to be more dense.
Chapter Gene-Seed
The chapter's gene-seed allows for more dense leg and torso muscle allowing for them to be faster than a normal Astartes.
Genetic Flaws:
This chapter's gene-seed causes rapid destabilization of muscle if aspirants are not taken at birth, meaning all battle-brothers do not remember their family and grow closer with their chapter. Also with less armor it means that if a brother of Guilliman's Hussars is shot they have a high likely hood of dying or being interred in a Dreadnaught.
Combat Doctrine
The members of the Guilliman's Hussars 2nd Company will drive Hussar-Class reconnassaince bikes off of thunderhawk gunships into battle. If the situation requires the members of the 1st Company may even bring terminators down with attack bikes. This chapter will deploy 1 Kopias (Squad) of battle-brothers from the 3rd-5th Companies for any situation that requires the Adeptus Astartes. You will also see many Stormraven gunships doing strafing runs over bigger battlefields.

Chapter Appearance
Chapter Colours
The Guilliman's Hussars Chapter primarily wears dusty sky blue power armour with secondary white in their armorial insets and tertiary black on their shoulder pauldron trim. A silver/gold Imperialis or Aquila is affixed to their plastron (chest armour). The Chapter icon is prominently displayed upon their left shoulder pauldron inset, while the opposite inset prominently displays a large black Roman numeral, indicating a battle-brother's assigned company. Veterans and officers have black shoulder pauldron insets, with a white Roman numeral instead.
Astartes of this Chapter primarily wear dusty sky blue helmets, while sergeants and officers wear red coloured helmets with horizontal crests. If an individual battle-brother is awarded an Iron Halo award, they may add white elements to their horizontal crest.
A black squad specialty symbol stenciled on the right poleyn (knee guard) indicates a battle-brothers assigned combat specialty (Fire Support, Close Support, Battleline, Veteran or Command). A small white Roman numeral stenciled on the center of the specialty symbol indicates squad assignment.
Chapter Badge
Chapter icon of the Guilliman's Hussars Chapter.
The Chapter badge of the Guilliman's Hussars depicts a pair of stylised wings, arched upward from a central base, their feathers flaring outward in a sweeping, aggressive curve. Rendered in a clean, symmetrical form, the wings evoke both the divine heraldry of the Emperor's Angels of Death and the martial splendor of Old Earth's legendary cavalry - the Polish Winged Hussars. The symbolism is steeped in both heritage and intent. The winged motif is directly inspired by the hussars' iconic winged armour, whose great feathered frames were said to create an unearthly roar as they thundered into battle, terrifying enemies before the charge even struck. In like manner, the badge of the Guilliman's Hussars signifies unstoppable momentum and righteous ferocity, a Chapter defined by the shock of its assaults and the indomitable will of its warriors.
To the Hussars, the wings also serve a spiritual purpose. They represent both the divine mandate of Roboute Guilliman - the primarch who gave them their genetic inheritance - and the Chapter's role as avenging angels, ever descending upon their enemies in disciplined, unstoppable waves. Where other heraldry may emphasize stoic guardianship or the tools of war, the wings of the Guilliman's Hussars embody the fusion of honour, speed, and terror - the qualities that made the hussars of Old Earth feared across battlefields, now transfigured into the eternal wars of the 42nd Millennium.
