The First Pillage of Grassia was a joint Imperial defensive campaign conducted by the Grey Steeds Space Marine Chapter in defense of their home world of Grassia, from the predations of the Khornate Chaos Warband known as the Blood Hounds. Spearheaded by a Greater Daemon of Khorne, the berserker Heretic Astartes slaughtered and massacred their way across the normally peaceful planet.
The Grey Steeds mounted a heroic defence of their people, and together with local Astra Militarum forces and the help of the daemon-hunting Grey Knights Chapter, were able to banish the Greater Daemon back into the Warp and drive off the Chaos Warband.
History[]
A massive warband of Khorne bersekers know as the Blood Hounds, led by the Greater Daemon of Khorne - Khult'el'Manic - appeared out of nowhere in the skies of Grassia, seeking to strip it of its resources and spread bloodshed in their wake. The Grey Seeds rapidly reacted to the situation, but in no time to spare several nomads lives. Together with forces of the Astra Militarum and elements of the Grey Knights, the defending forces are able to defeat the heretics and ban their leader back to the warp.
