The First Cabal Invasion of Pueblo was a defensive campaign fought by the renegade Void Paladins Space Marine Chapter and their Confederate allies in the defense of their homeworld of Pueblo from the mysterious faction known as the Cabal of Destiny.
Background[]
The first attempt by the Cabal to secure more gene-seed or otherwise destroy the Void Paladins or their recruitment base. They secured a foothold on the moon away from the forge hives and from there pushed straight to the surface of the planet. While the chaos forces of the Cabal invaded Pueblo their Dark Mechanicum allies attacked the Forgehives that dotted the moon, fierce Titan battles raged across the surface while Knights and Skitarii fought amongst their feet.
Once the Cabal held a foothold on the surface slaves were gathered and a ritual was conducted to bring forth daemons and from there fully assaulted Abbaheim. During this conflict Athirlyn forces stationed in their quarter of Abbaheim not only defended their section of the city but took in as many civilians as possible while also ranging out with kill teams to hold back the Chaos forces. Iterator Ullius, the First Dominus Veritas, died during the First Cabal Invasion of Pueblo fighting the daemonic hordes ravaging civilians in the streets of Abbaheim. To this day in Abbaheim the residential area he died defending is named the Ulllius Quarter.
After several years of intense fighting they are pushed off the planet and out of the system after very heavy losses, especially on the part of the Rorarii and Confederates themselves from the daemonic urban warfare.
