Duncan Thaddeum is the current First Warden of the Emperor's Wardens Space Marines Chapter.
He is a renown soldier who have battled for the Imperium for many centuries, especially against the Greenskin filth.
History[]
Infancy[]
Duncan Thaddeum was born long time ago in a very poor family of Thedosia, unlike many of his battle-brothers who came from the wealthy nobility of the planet. However, when his father heard that the Wardens were seeking for young boys to join them, he took Duncan, only aged of 12 years, to the city of Helmwall to give him to the chapter, hoping a better future for his son.
Once he arrived at the Greyhold, Duncan, and the others boys who came with him, met the former First Warden Jorge Hulio, and the Grand Vigilant Yorus Corb, the eldest Space Marine of the chapter. After this, they were starting their first trials.
During these trials, almost half of the aspirants would die, and only a few amongst the survivors would be able to complete the last trial, the Enlightenment, the others died or became Serfs.
Duncan passed this ordeal quite easily for a boy of this age, and was allow to start his new life as a Neophytes of the Emperor's Wardens.
In the Wardens[]
Before rising to the position of First Warden, Duncan Thaddeum served as a Warden-Recruit within the 10th House, "The Squires," for many decades. One day, after he managed to kill a powerful Chaos Astartes of a World Eaters warband, he has been promoted to the position of House Herald.
After many centuries of service, he was promoted to the rank of Warden-Commander of the 4th House, until 9.150.975.M40, when he was chosen to become the new First Warden of the chapter, after the lost of his predecessor during a massive campaign against a powerful Ork Waaagh!.
Power and Equipement[]
- An armoured gauntlet that generates an energy field around it, one that is capable of violently disrupting any solid matter it touches.
- Deliver pulses of searing energy and superheated matter that have been transmuted into a gaseous plasma state that carries an electrical charge.
- A Power Sword is a Power Weapon that has been shaped into a sword of varying lengths and designs crafted from one of any number of different materials, though usually Adamantium. When its power cell is activated, often by touching a control located on the hilt, the blade is sheathed in a lethal corona of disruptive energy.
