The Beast Hunters are a Loyalist Space Marine Chapter of the Adeptus Astartes, created during the ill-fated 21st 'Cursed' Founding, originating from the gene-seed of Primarch Jaghatai Khan. However, some suspect the Chapter's gene-seed is 'chimeric'. In other words, it has somehow been adulterated by mixing the gene-seed of both the Warhawks and that of Magnus The Red, the Primarch of the Thousand Sons Traitor Legion. However, these rumours have yet to be firmly substantiated.

Chapter Homeworld
The Beast Hunters reside on a feral world named Kishoq, which is one of the most dangerous ones but still not approaching the world of Catachan, yet still proves to be a challenge to survive. The planet is covered in lush jungles with deep tundras and icy wastelands as you venture further to the north, with high mountains covered in pure white snow which contains more dangers to the life of those who live on the planet. Still, the people of Kishoq have remained and with each new generation, the traditions of the world strengthen as no Manufactorums are built on its surface whilst the Marines hold their position on the planet as its guardians and leaders.
Kishoqians live by a simple rule; "The world is not your ally, but certainly not your foe. Respect its natural order and you will prevail." And so, the humble, yet stubborn humans who wear clothes mirroring the climate in which they reside, like the loose, thin clothes of people living in the jungles, the heavy furs collected from Ice-tusk Mammoths on the Northern Wastes, or even the bright linen clothes of the inhabitants of the South Deserts. They are all short by nature, so their bodies require less nutrition and provide better chances of survival, no matter which climate the residents are in.
The world itself has very dangerous wildlife that provides a challenge to everyone landing on the surface. First to notice are the groups of Oxent, mild creatures resembling Groxes, yet far more dangerous with how they treat anything that is even slightly reminding them of predators. Their signature feature is their three horns that face forward and are slightly bent upwards posing a threat to everyone in front. They are not easy to tame and it is hard to earn their trust, with some beasts taking years upon years to domesticate and later on keep on their farms. Another animal that is often sighted on land is the Giant Kishoqian Sabercats, which look exactly how you portray them. Massive felines hold great fangs from their top jaws and claws that are strong enough to tear through the iron cladding of a light tank vehicle. They claimed many lives over the years, including that of the Marines themselves, as they are often targets of the next Hunting Games that spanned over the centuries of existence of the Chapter. Besides these two there are many, many more dangerous creatures living on the planet itself, that are equally if not more dangerous than the other ones.
Fortress-Monastery
The Chapters Fortress-Monastery is located in the deep center of the Hunting Grounds, a massive land full of forests and rivers that is also the most dangerous place on the entire planet. The Fortress is called "Thousand Step Ascend", paying homage to the previously built and maintained by humans temple of sorts which is guarded by a unit of 50 stone statues resembling the proud warriors of the golden Adeptus Custodes, that are rumoured to still be on guarding duty of the temple that exists to this day.

Chapter Gene-Seed
The Chapter's gene-seed is unofficially a mix of two gene-fathers - Jaghatai Khan and Magnus the Red. Both give to the Chapter their strengths which are the capabilities to withstand massive speeds unfazed, reaching to their new heights each time they enter their Battle-Trance, and psychic abilities that allow them to fuse themselves with souls of the Beasts they slay on their Homeworld. It all allows them to fight efficiently with any type of enemy they need to fight, but are weaker against those who specialise in fighting the psychically empowered individuals, like Blanks or Culexus Assassins.
Genetic Flaws
Each time the Marines enter their Battle-Trance, they risk overheating their bodies and exhausting their strength almost immediately. This however is not the worst that could possibly happen,, however, the worst fate the Beast Hunters can face however is when they use Soul Fusion. They risk becoming partially feral in mind, as the Beast claims their minds as their own.

About: Beast Hunters
- "They sing as they fight... All of it was as if they had a set rhythm for everything, their strikes, steps... Everything had a rhythm to a strange sound of drums that echoed through the entire planet. Honestly? It was quite amazing to watch. It gave us the courage to keep going, and thanks to them we won. They even cooked for us after the battle! The entire regiment! Can you believe it? I never ate anything like that before..."
