Hello all,
So I've got an itch to do some collaborations. If anyone else is similarly inclined hit me up. Doesn't need to be anything major. I just think shared projects can be fun.
Peace!
What do you have in mind?
I say we just continue the discussion here.
So long of it short: it would be a notation under "notable battles" for both our pages. As far as how we conclude how it would go...we just talk it out. If we can't come to an agreement on an outcome we'll use perspective bias (i.e. on my page it would say, "according to official Attikan records it was a great triumph" while on yours it would say the opposite...etc...)
The thing about the Black Banshees is that they're all former Drukhari wyches, for the express reason that "blanks" don't have anywhere near the same effect on them as they do their craftworld cousins. Our people operate in the same sgmentum so it kind of presents a prime opportunity for the Black Banshees to test their experiment. Story pitch: real simple. Black Banshee exarch leads her warriors on an opportunistic assault against the Silver Crows in their sector as they're collecting sacrifices for the Black Ships. No major world incursions. My girls are just looking to test their metal.
Well...these craftworlders are explicitly (though not openly) planning on assassinating the Emperor. So their effectiveness against his bodyguards is paramount
For example...we can arrange a battle between your Silver Sisters and my Black Banshees. The craftworld is deliberately developing anti-anti-psyker countermeasures. They need some conflicts to see if the experiment is working or not.

Coordination and agreement. We read through each other pages, see if there's some manner of story worth telling from the interaction, hash it out and then post it

Is this something to do with the site or have I been barred for some reason or another?
Definitely Chaos, Tzeentch more specifically.
I'm extremely hostile to the Emperor. So much of what is wrong with the Imperium is a direct result of how he established himself as the absolute monarch of a cult of personality. It's honestly gotten to the point with the Imperium that don't even really feel comfortable calling them human anymore. And all of it stems directly from the Emperor's hubris and arrogance. This is what autocracies become, inevitably. Truth be told, I know he's not *dead* in canon but I really wish he was. My chaos heretic is very much a reflection of my true feelings on the matter. Nothing can get better while the Ecclesiarchy has his sanctified corpse and dominion over the fascist (it's text book) regime he left to them.
The emperor being revered is the best joke in all of 40k. He's a gross failure and utterly repugnant tyrant...and because a large majority of the fanbase (and even canon creatives) have lost sight of the initial satire inherent to the setting, an increasing number of people IRL are parroting Imperium propaganda without a second thought.
I love 40k. I think its lore is nothing short of brilliant...but I struggle with the fandom precisely because of the open hostility people face for being critical of a fictional dictator. I stayed away from 40k for YEARS precisely because there are so many Imperium fanboys who get so intense about the emperor. Thank the gods for the Daemons and orks. They remind me I'm allowed to have fun with 40k on various terms. I don't have to be a cosplay xenophobic crusader to enjoy the hobby.
